The team at Gofor attended the London EV Show last week (29th November – 1stDecember), participating in the leading international electric vehicle event for the first time as visitors, exhibitioners, and panelists.
The event, held at London's Excel Arena, saw Gofor place a significant focus on sharing their innovative salary sacrifice scheme with visitors to the show, with the stand immersed in the product, its features, and benefits for both employees and employers.
Gofor also participated in two panel discussions across the three days, hosted by EV Show headline sponsor WEX. Head of Sales, Paul Gordon, joined the 'Why EV is not for me?' panel and shared his insights on why salary sacrifice was a key enabler to electrification, alongside some logistical considerations such as charger infrastructure and vehicle lead time.
On the second panel, 'How easy is it to electrify your fleet?', Michael Hook, Operational Growth Manager, represented the team. Michael sat alongside HR leaders and fleet managers to discuss what fleet electrification entails and how this can be made easier for employers and employees, sharing specific insights on how salary sacrifice can be a crucial enabler.
Reflecting on the event, Gofor MD, Graham Lesslie, said:
"A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by the London EV Show over the last few days. We've had some great conversations and feedback around the electrification of fleets, salary sacrifice, and how the future looks for a more sustainable automotive industry."
Graham, Michael, and Paul were joined by Graeme Shields (business development manager) and Ross Marshall (systems implementation manager) across three days of EV industry discussions and debates.
