In most cases, the delivery driver/agent will provide at the very least a basic handover service when they deliver the vehicle. For full details on the vehicle however, please refer to your manufacturer’s vehicle handbook.
You will be given 2 full sets of keys from your delivery driver.
No, delivery mileage will not count towards your annual mileage (the only exception being vehicles funded through VW Finance Services).
The vehicle is usually delivered with at least a quarter of a tank of fuel/quarter charge (however this is not a contractual obligation).
AM or PM delivery can be requested but is not guaranteed (as this is subject to traffic conditions). We are not allocated specific time delivery slots, however the driver should contact you least one hour prior to delivery.
Yes, we will simply need written confirmation at least two weeks in advance, advising who will be signing for the delivery, along with a clear scanned copy of their driving licence. Please be aware that the vehicle must be thoroughly checked over by the recipient (i.e. you or the nominated person) before signing the delivery handover paperwork.
Yes, you will need to have proof of ID on you, eg. your passport or your driving licence.
Yes. Customers usually have their vehicle delivered to their place of business, however if you’d like your vehicle delivered to any other address, including a residential address, then this is fine. You simply need to let us know at least two weeks in advance, providing both the preferred delivery address and contact details.
Yes, we do deliver to Northern Ireland.
No, vehicle delivery is free on the UK mainland. The only exceptions to free delivery are if you are not on the UK mainland or if you request to have your vehicle delivered on a transporter.
Vehicles are normally driven to a customer’s home or place of work by a delivery agent. In some rare cases, the vehicle may be transported on a ‘low loader’ truck. If your vehicle is being delivered via a transporter at your request, this will usually incur an additional charge.
