Take care of wear and tear
The BVRLA Fair Wear and Tear Guide is an essential document for any lease vehicle driver, particulralry useful as you move towards the end of your lease period.
Here’s a useful checklist to work through ahead of the pre-vehicle return date:
- Check your service history is fully up to date
- Check your tyre tread meets minimum legal requirements
- Check that all the electric features in the vehicle are working as they should
- Check the interior is in good condition, an internal clean is always a good idea
- Ensure any exterior damage is minor surface only
- Ensure all sets of keys vehicle documentation are available
